The newest release of Storyteller singles have been popping up at stores across the United States. I was able tyo grab a set of the show girls Laverne,Rhonda, and Sheila as well as the cousins Cletus,Buford and Jud. Nice looking cars and kind of cool since they are something away from the norm. I am still patiently waiting the 3 pack versions to see the offerings.
The flurry of Disney CARS Lenticular assortments Case D and Case E have been hitting various areas in various stores across the United States and Europe. The Case D contents have the the usual Lenticular “My Eyes Move” card back but with Case E that changes. The Case E card backs are now in the Final Lap Motif as well a HUGE change in the eyes. Instead of blinking or winking motions. These new “eyes” are ones that “follow” you. They are actually 2 sets of eyes hidden with the lenticular slides in the windshield. However some are very poorly done where you can actually see 3 to 4 eyes at a given angle. Pretty Freaky! I grabbed all the newer stuff including the chases (King with Piston Cup and Ransberg Darrell Cartrip) The Ransberg chase is pretty weak in my opinion. It is about as exciting and any of the “chase packaging” releases. But you can be the judge of that.
A lot of new product is SWIRLING around from store to store. You can find the goods from the most obvious stores as well as the obscure. In the last week or so I have come across a VAST amount of new release items as well as items that have ben out but just have now hit this area.It has been a very expensive mont6h already!

Now being originally from California I am fully aware of the sagging phenomenon. With that being said I have been actively aware of the recent “trend” of the young males as well as females rocking the “skinny” jean look. Skinny jeans being the tightly clad pants that basically need a few peoples help to get put on, or in males cases the majority of theirs being girls jeans. That is all good, I as many other people wouldn’t think of wearing such ankle suffocating garb but it is what it is. The real thing that gets me is how this young idiots want to “SAG” the skinny jeans. Not only does it look moronic but just plain stupid to me. I caught a glimpse of said such idiot at a McDonalds this morning and felt compelled to snap a pic and blog about it. I don’t understand the importance of sagging skinny jeans. 1 you damn sure don’t need a belt and 2 I am sure that it takes no effort to “sag” them being as they are extremely form fitting. But what the fascination is with walking around like a duck or a professional horse rider to keep the pants on to me is beyond ignorance. I really hope this kid doesn’t wonder why he won’t have a “good” job or may get harassed by many individuals currently or down the road. It’s very sad to think about these generations as we will have a horrible future upon us once they age to adults.
After a very long night of Trick or Treating I finally have de-energized from the experience. Gisselle had a GREAT night running around from house to house getting the GOODS! She rocked out a San Diego Chargers Cheer leader outfit, which by the way was the SHIZ with so many comments its was crazy. One lady even hooked her up with 2 giant handfuls of candy because San Diego was her favorite team. (BONUS!) Overall she ran her little legs off and quickly passed out on the way back home. Without even eating one candy, shocking! The night netted her about 10 pounds of candy. I know because I carried the “too heavy bag” . I got to collect the amounts that were getting to heavy for her pumpkin bag. The night was pretty much very warm and humid even. I was stoked to get into the CAR with AC. We had a great night and hopefully it will be transferred in the following pictures.

Gisselle was ON the doorbell ringing 4-5 times at each unattended door and of course followed up with the little hand knock if people didn’t show up fast enough! And some people even left the bowls outside so kids could grab what they wanted. Selle wasn’t shy!

The new CARS Toon Maters have been rapidly hitting all the stores. I was able to get a hold of High Dive Mater and Dr. Mater. Very nicely detailed and solid weight to them. These two offerings make the CARS Toon line sensible in ways. Very nice transition from a animated short to a diecast replica.
Finally after weeks of different things going on, I was able to set up the photo box and get some shots of the K Marty X Disney CARS collector day #3 exclusive Rubber tire racers.

Something about this 8 inch Dunny by Buff Monster grabbed me. I pulled the trigger quickly when it went on sale. I don’t know what it was about it, although after buying it I kind of had second thoughts waiting for it to get to me. But as soon as I received it and opened it up, I was hooked! This dunny was done perfectly. The gloss on it was perfect and the detail was great! Although without the massive amount of typical boobage by Buff, the slight representation of them was superb!
I haven’t really been into the last few releases of Kidrobot Dunny’s. But with a sudden urge to pick some up I grabbed a few of the new 2009 Series 6 Blind Boxes and came away with these:
