We took off after our cookout to stake our close spot to watch fireworks without having to pay to park or get on a foot mission to the fireworks site. We located a cool open view of the fireworks without the hustle and bustle we watched others get into.
Even the Geese were racing to find a good spot.

Well figuring since it is July 4th I broke out the grill for some grilling action. Threw some Hot Dogs,Burgers, Sausages,and filet mignons. Gisselle got down with her bubbles and the kittens….well they were just lazies today…

I came across this Jada Toys 1:18 Scale ‘49 Merc Rat Rod low rider at Target. It was a nice change from the numerous Camaro’s,Chargers, and other various Jada 1:18 models lingering around. The flat paint and rat rod look is GREAT. Thew flame work is A plus along with Kevi Kev’s Paid Due’s clothing logo on the lower front fender. And the finishing touch of While wall tires and blacked out wheels.
I was lucky enough to receive free IRL race tickets from Marlboro along with Pit /Garage passes( I know smoking sucks! But I got free tickets and pit passes) So my good friend Eric and I made the morning trip up to Richmond , Virginia for the race. It was quite a hot day but could have been a lot worse. We got through the front gates and see the LONG line to redeem my free ticket vouchers. Surprisingly though we got to the tent fairly quick and were 2 of the 1500 people allowed to get pit/garage passes. (STOKED!) So with 6 or so hours before race time we hit the vendor booths to see some of extremely over priced diecast race cars and merchandise.
We came across a few mach race cars for display. A Hot Wheels car as well as a Marlboro Team Penske Car:
After that we headed straight for the pits. I myself was a little whore since I have never ben in the pit/garage area for a major race such as this. Needless to say I was GEEKED and in a rush!

I came across the Disney CARS lenticular line the other night and bought a few out of the bunch I liked. To me this line isn’t worth the $1 markup. They eyes as you will see are not that great of an accent (opened and closed), however the packaging is top notch with the dual clear side visibility. But hopefully my pictures will help you decide if you haven’t seen these yet.
And the chases of course. But these DO NOT HAVE LENTICULAR EYES. So you are paying $1 more for the packaging alone.
I was a avid Sidekick lover though all the versions (OG,SK2, and SK3) And due to copying a friends style I grabbed a BlackBerry Curve to see what the hype was all about. At first it was a way different interface than any of the Sidekicks. But after a short getting used to it became easy as pie and really cool to use.
So now after a few years of using the Blackberry Curve I stepped it up a notch and grabbed a BlackBerry Storm. So far I haven’t had any troubles with it but have heard quite a few remarks that that interface is garbage and people have had tons of issues with them. But so far so good I am pretty happy with it.
