I got off work this morning and decided to get my little girl some chocolate milk, as I passed the diecast aisle I notice the CARS section was restocked nicely. Nothing really new , but i grabbed a few Chuki’s to replace the chipped ones my daughter has, And while walking to the dairy section I noticed the error. Nice find definitely by mistake, and my first error CARS item.

The most recent released 8 inch Dunny from Kidrobot is the Zombie Pet Dunny designed by Patricio Oliver.
You can’t be spooky all the time. Argentinean illustrator Patricio Oliver brings us a ghoul of a Dunny.
This GID undead predator is made of translucent blue vinyl and printed with glow-in-the-dark bones, for a distinctly ghoulish (but adorable) look.

I stole this picture from the web, since I can’t manage to grab a glow in the dark picture.

World renown graffiti artist SABER has teamed up with the Maisto custom shop to creat a series of Limited Edition 1:24 scale scion xB’s. The three unique cars feature graphic designs by SABER created especially for this project
I grabbed these at a local retailer at a very good clearanced price. I have wanted to get them since they were released to the hobby end of the market but to me the prices were a little high for the product. now seems they went to retail shortly after and stayed at a higher price. And finally they dropped dramatically price wise and I grabbed them up. The designs are pretty dope although the casting isn’t all that great. The head lights are plastic covers as any 1:24 scale is, but the rear lights are tampos(stickers) not lenses, pretty disappointing! But like I mentioned I DIG the Graf inspired design and Saber is a DOPE artist!

Finally taking a break from working a ton. I have had a chance to catch up some video games!
I borrowed Assassins Creed on PS3 from a friend at work, and I have thouroughly captivated in it. Spending many and hours playing it when I should have been sleeping! I also bought the game and strategy guide off ebay so I could own it! It is a great action filled game and the story line never gets boring. The assassin features of it are amazing, and the 47 inch definately captures the essence of the game! Various final fighting scenes keep getting better and better! The stealth capabilities are nice! I would recommend this to anyone even people like myself who aren’t avid gamers, it is cool to get away from a hour or so a week and take your work week frustrations out on the medieval times troops.

2nd game is Mario Kart for Wii. This game is great for the masses. Not too hard to get the hang of, and the steering wheel is badass! It isn’t even close to being as touchy as the need for speed or other racing games steering. the ? cubes are great from all those dubious trap options from banana peels, boost mushrooms, explosive cubes, bombers, electric lighting bolts and various other goodies to launch on your race mates. Good stuff! Even have me contemplating buying a router to play online!

And of course just like the Millions of households around the world, I grabbed this on release day. (don’t cuss me out) I have yet to play it due to work and playing the other two above games. But I have heard very good reviews on it and will probably break it in tomorrow!

Erick scarecrow has been on FIRE. His latest offering from New York Comic Con is one of 3 figures he debuted( the other 2 were Old Skool Kaiju and Super Coin Up Bros). The Kissaki is a fresh look at what I personally would call his Liberty figure meets Kill Bill. Clean lines, great stance, and a facial expression that says it all and liited to 350 pcs is GREAT too! The first figure I got was mangled in transit and became decapitated. Erick quickly fixed the problem and sent me another figure! So here she is in ALL her glory!

Erick Scarecrow has emerged on the designer vinyl scene in full force in 2007, releasing his Liberty figure in 5 very limited color ways. This figure alone catapulted Erick to the very top of the game with Artist of the Year honors from Plastic and Plush online. His unique outlook and artistic talents have been a good transition from the “norm”. 2007 he brought new plush characters such as Dookie Poos, Mousey Micci’s and Shitakes(which also were released in vinyl form).2008 brought more creative births , such as Soopa Coin Up Bros., Kissaki and Old Skool Kaiju vinyl designs. With no doubt more creative releases to come!
Green Liberty Limited to 300pcs

Pink Liberty Limited to 100pcs.

Blue Liberty Limited to 100pcs.

Black Liberty Limited to 100pcs.

GID Liberty Limited to 190pcs.

Just recently it was announced Disney stores would be carrying the larger 1:43 scale diecast CARS line. So inquisitive I popped my head into a disney store and sure enough they had them. Only 6 at the moment with more to come. The ones at my store were, Lightning McQueen, Ramone, Sally, King, Luigi and Guido. These are HEAVY diecast with plastic tires (kinda disappointed in this choice). Lightning McQueen could have been his true RED color instead of the tangerine red he is painted. But you can’t have it all. Nice value for the price of $5.50.

I will for sure grab a Sarge, Mater and Chick Hicks when they come out. Besides that…ehh not anything else.
