Stihl Inc. 2012 Family Picnic

Once again it is that time of year to enjoy the Stihl Inc. company family picnic. It was a GREAT event planned for the employees with a ton of great activities for adults and children alike. As usual Stihl Inc. went over and above for its’ employees and it shined throughout the entire event.

The weather played PERFECTLY despite a HUGE tornado laden storm the night before dumping many inches of rain across the region and causing quite a bit of damage.

The food catering as well as adult beverage catering was TOP NOTCH!

Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Museum visit 5/27/12

The fam and I got a free chance today to visit the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Museum. We had a good day. Not a huge crowd, weather was great, and like I said a free experience thanks to Alma’s co worker. And this was also a GREAT chance to try out the new camera and lenses!

Dirty glass marred the chance at getting really good shot but hey I got a few good ones of the otters.

A LOAD of Disney Store EXCLUSIVE 1:43 Scale Acrylic Cased Disney CARS 2 Characters

The Disney Store has been kick Mattel’s ass on releasing new characters to the faithful CARS collecting community. Although with the numbers dwindling for collectors, as most are fed up with the lack of anything new in the big box stores to buy, these may help the life support for the line.

This set was purchased from the United Kingdom. I think they seem to be 1:64 scale.

Disney CARS 2 Mini RC cars by Air Hogz/Choro Q

Choro Q from Japan has teamed up the US RC car brand Air Hogz for release of the Disney CARS 2 mini RC cars domestically in the US. The packaging is the only real difference as both remotes have the CHORO Q branding and the models are exactly the same aesthetically.
