1:43 scale Diecast PIXAR CARS

Just recently it was announced Disney stores would be carrying the larger 1:43 scale diecast CARS line. So inquisitive I popped my head into a disney store and sure enough they had them. Only 6 at the moment with more to come. The ones at my store were, Lightning McQueen, Ramone, Sally, King, Luigi and Guido. These are HEAVY diecast with plastic tires (kinda disappointed in this choice). Lightning McQueen could have been his true RED color instead of the tangerine red he is painted. But you can’t have it all. Nice value for the price of $5.50.

I will for sure grab a Sarge, Mater and Chick Hicks when they come out. Besides that…ehh not anything else.

Auto Art Police Division continues……

I finally got the newer releases of the Auto Art Police divisions. These cars detail is by far TOP NOTCH in the diecast model game! And they are not for the faint hearted and light wallet people. You DEFINITELY PAY for the quality you receive. Both models are limited to 6,000 pcs. worldwide. My Auto Art family welcomes them with open arms!

This set just arrived from Hong Kong, is a very unique set. It is the #1 Subaru WRC Impreza Driven by Solberg. It represents the beginning clean version of the car and the finished dirty version. Nice detail down to the windshield!

Jada Toys NEW For $Ale rides

The newest Jada Toys For $ale series has surfaced in a Local store. The used/beat up appearance of these cars is so well done for almost all models so far. Or in a better word REALISTIC. I have had a few opportunities to hang out with the guys behind these toys from Jada and their work continues even with great losses of personnel in the last few years. The few that remain and the newer additions are still doing their thing!

Flintstones McFarlane boxset

I have always love the Flintstones from my younger years. I had picked this box set up a little while ago and finally dug it out from underneath all my other crap and figured I would throw it on the wordpress. This scene is one of the mainstays of the Flintstones credit/beginning sequences, where the family goes to the drive in for some ribs and Fred gets the largest size that tips the Flintstone mobile on one side. This representation does exactly that with a button to press that flips the car sideways. Nice detail as you would expect from Todd McFarlane and team! yet another cool addition to add to my amassing amount of “toys” ehh hemm adult collectibles.

Carisma Subaru WRC 1999 #5

Carisma is now jumping into the motor sports scene with their WRC version Subaru’s. This is the 1:64 scale version #5 1999 Subaru rally car. They also have 1:43 scale versions popping up on various online outlets. The detail is very good , all the way down to the roll cage inside the car. I have to say I am really impressed with the detail!

Jada Toys Premium Koyo Racing release

Jada Toys had a Limited run deal with Koyo Racing in Japan. This deal was the limited run of these Import Racer Toyota Trueno AE86’s deco’d by the company and given away or sold in Japan only. the blistercard does not have a UPC code for scanning so that’s a dead give away for promo’s in the diecast world. The backer collector card front side shows the E-Sheet( diecast industry talk for the way the car is set up colorwise, graphics and other things, from all angles on paper) and the rear of the card has the companies logo and date of release. pretty nice to have and for sure not easily accessible by folks in the United States.

CARS Movie Moments P.T. Flea and Flik

P.T. Flea and Flik have arrived with the latest Movie Moments CARS case. These along with Towcap and Gasprin have been eagerly awaited since Christmas time. Down the line, I think these will follow the Mike and Sulley route, sitting on the pegs awaiting clearance and then not even moving then. But for the detail the VW Bug is way cool and the little brown droppings on P.T. Fleas hat have been commented as being flea eggs or flea poop. Either way they are cool and my daughter loves to play with them. Win-Win in my book!

Movie Moments have begun to flow again. These have been GREATLY anticipated in the CARS collecting community since Christmas.

Chuki has made her debut on a single card. And with the recent drought of cool CARS this little Japanese Anime Chuki was a welcomed arrival. She fits in well with my massive JDM collection and my daughter likes hers for the simple fact she is a bright pink and has long eyelashes!
