This set just arrived from Hong Kong, is a very unique set. It is the #1 Subaru WRC Impreza Driven by Solberg. It represents the beginning clean version of the car and the finished dirty version. Nice detail down to the windshield!
The newest Jada Toys For $ale series has surfaced in a Local store. The used/beat up appearance of these cars is so well done for almost all models so far. Or in a better word REALISTIC. I have had a few opportunities to hang out with the guys behind these toys from Jada and their work continues even with great losses of personnel in the last few years. The few that remain and the newer additions are still doing their thing!

I have always love the Flintstones from my younger years. I had picked this box set up a little while ago and finally dug it out from underneath all my other crap and figured I would throw it on the wordpress. This scene is one of the mainstays of the Flintstones credit/beginning sequences, where the family goes to the drive in for some ribs and Fred gets the largest size that tips the Flintstone mobile on one side. This representation does exactly that with a button to press that flips the car sideways. Nice detail as you would expect from Todd McFarlane and team! yet another cool addition to add to my amassing amount of “toys” ehh hemm adult collectibles.
Carisma is now jumping into the motor sports scene with their WRC version Subaru’s. This is the 1:64 scale version #5 1999 Subaru rally car. They also have 1:43 scale versions popping up on various online outlets. The detail is very good , all the way down to the roll cage inside the car. I have to say I am really impressed with the detail!
Jada Toys had a Limited run deal with Koyo Racing in Japan. This deal was the limited run of these Import Racer Toyota Trueno AE86’s deco’d by the company and given away or sold in Japan only. the blistercard does not have a UPC code for scanning so that’s a dead give away for promo’s in the diecast world. The backer collector card front side shows the E-Sheet( diecast industry talk for the way the car is set up colorwise, graphics and other things, from all angles on paper) and the rear of the card has the companies logo and date of release. pretty nice to have and for sure not easily accessible by folks in the United States.
