I was almost out of luck in grabbing this SDCC exclusive, but luckily a cool guy came through for me! Such a great piece and the colors used are very very vibrant! Erick rocked yet another cool art piece! Limited to 300 you can’t go wrong!
I received 2 SDCC Lightning Storm Lightning McQueens from a friend that went to the San Diego Comic Con. With our great postal system one was floating around inside of its acrylic case, but thankfully it came out alright. No broken parts or scuffs. This is a super detailed piece and I REALLY like that the tires are rubber not plastic! Very good exclusive and a very nice display piece. My daughter loves hers too!

As another year is creeping by it was time for my company picnic. As always good times, good food, and Selle had a blast with all the kid stuff to do. There’s gonna be quite a few pictures so enjoy the show…
We got there a little early to beat the CRAZY traffic that usually piles up due to the large amount of employees that come right at starting time. So we got an upfront parking space and a photo opportunity without the crowds.

We got the sneak peak on the desert table. And Selle made it a point to snake MAD strawberries before the picnic officially started…
We also took a HUGE platter of strawberries and cookies home after the event…they were chucking everything….

They organized a Virginia State Police cruiser to sit at the picnic and give out pamphelets on DUI’s and other stuff. I scored an O’Douls keychain (for what reason I dunno ha)

And they had the normal food, BBQ pork and chicken, fried chicken, hamburgers and hot dogs, but the highlight as usual….THE BEER VAN…this undoubtedly was the most visited and hung around area. Free beer as many as you wanted…man WE ALL put in work!

I just wanted to shoot a thanks out to you all who have continually checked my blog for new content. This was one of the Dunny’s I noticed that got super ragged on in the collecting community because of the design. I think it may be simple yet the gradient color change from yellow to a burnt orange is wonderful. That coupled with the pearlescent white shell design is very unique. And for $30 it was worth it!
After seeing some cool Pixar CARS diecast this morning I cruised by the Hot Wheels pegs and a few rides stood out to me.
This Honda/Acura NSX modded up like the Super GT car is GREAT except for the STUPID wheel choice. I think they should have put wheels like the FTE’s in the next picture on the Custom van.

I LOVE this van for somereason! And the color combo with the paint and graphics and the FTE’s are SWEET!
And this DTM car named the Amazoom is modded after a DTM car. Can’t tell if it is the Mercedes or Ford racer, but its sleek!

I grabbed this a little while ago for my daughter. She loved the sounds it made in the store when she would move the wheels. So once I bought and got it home it is a pretty neat “playset” for the mini adventure vehicles in the CARS line. It also swallows up the Pittys as well. She enjoys it tons and still swings the movable shovel arm around to hit the lights n sounds Lightning McQueen’s and mater around. Nice but $34 nice…ehh its debatable..

I wandered into Target this morning to find a new 4 pack of Disney Cars. It had Lightning McQueen, The King, Re-Volting #84(new car out, outside of the speedway of the south set) and chick hicks. The quality of the window packaging from a display angle is gorgeous! If you wanted to lay this somewhere low were pets or the little ones would get ahold of it…it is pretty flimsy. But a quality release nonetheless and priced a little more reasonable at $15.
I grabbed a few of these in Los Angeles since I really DIG the artist MIST. Not disappointing in the least!
