The Hot Wheels Collectors site recently had a sale for a 2008 Hot Wheels Japan Custom Car Show 1967 Chevrolet Camaro from an event that took place this spring. The left overs from that show in Japan were offered up to Red Line Club members at a $30 price tag. The overall design of this car is top notch, and with a production run of 2,500 worldwide, I was super lucky to have been able to snag one!
I recently came across these 3 models at a Toys R Us. I have never found an actual “GREEN MACHINE” from this company due to their seriously low production runs. The Green Machines are either green in color or have some othwer attributes “green” in color. These Black Bandits have a run of 2,500 for the 2 models I found and others have a 4,500 piece run. Green Machines are said to be 2% of the production run, so I have found 2/50 Z06 Corvettes and a 1/50 1960 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe… A very nice day to round out the shitty morning I had!
The Choro Q team has swung a homerun with these Lightning McQueen Q Steer versions. My daughter and I played with them for hours yesterday and had endless fun! Another great Hong Kong buy for me!
