A recent EX-Administrator problem at CARSTHETOYS.COM

Well recently I got some NASTY private messages from the QUEEN BEE of the board xandersmommy74 . And seeing as how I cannot post these PM’s on the board due to the LANGUAGE used by the ADMINISTRATOR toward me. I will rock it out here. This situation I am guessing had arisen from the Admin’s lack of responsibility in patrolling the board and only busting on certain people for things and ignoring the items her own little “clique” was up to. So she felt this was the best way to “let me know my place”. Hilarity at its best. This now shows everyone on that board that she IS NOT the “princess”, stand up role model!!!!! This was brought to light and these were the PM’s received:

I have nothing whatsoever to do with the pricing policies of this board, someone asked a question this week and I answered according to the policy set up by JR sharp and continued by Dean.

DEAN asked me to be an admin of this board, and so if you dont like it, you are free to tell him.

Disney CARS Cruisin’ at Flo’s Mini Adventures Set

Target has been getting quite a few exclusives from Mattel’s Disney CARS line. The latest installment, following closely behind the StoryTellers line is this Mini Adventures 6 mini car set. The Set includes exclusive deco’s: Sally, Mater, and Doc. With the already released deco’s of Lightning McQueen, Flo, and Ramone. The displability of this set is GREAT! I really dig the way that Mattel has been utilizing the thermoformed plastic as a “case” housing the contents inside. The diorama set up in this set is very nice (although I would have geeked a bunch if the gas pumps were plastic instead of cardboard stand ups). This helps displaying the CARS characters that much easier!

A Disney CARS stash uncovered

I went to a local SEARS store, and browsed their Christmas toy area and noticed they carry Disney CARS stuff. So after flipping through what looked like very fresh stock, I didn’t find anything worthwhile, I continued on my shopping trip. After I finished up my search in the mall, I went through Sears again to get to my car, and something told me to hit the Toy area back up. I browsed around and something just didn’t look right. There were a group of Shake n Go Mack Haulers on the bottom shelf below the Disney CARS single packs. 2 of the haulers were really out of place, messy looking, where as all the others were neatly lined up. I moved them and BAM I found a nice hidden stash someone thought was a clever hiding spot for the goods!

This was a shot from my Blackberry. Something is going on with the lense hence the fuzziness. So my total score is shown below. I bet someone is a little ticked that they weren’t clever enough to hide the goodies better!

Disney CARS 5 piece skateboard set

Most everyone has seen the Teck deck fingerboard at the local stores. Basically mini skateboards that kids can change out wheels, trucks, and add stickers too, and some come with little vinyl characters. Well I was browsing a local store and saw some Disney CARS sets. So I grab all they had to maybe hook other fans up with. They come with extras wheels and trucks , as well as 5 total mini decks with Disney CARS themed decos on the bottom. I have 2 extras so if anyone reads this and would like them they cost me $8 so I will sell them for that plus shipping. Contact me if you are interested!

Erick Scarecrow’s Kissaki: The Wicked Colorway

Erick Scarecrow had dropped yet another BLAZING HOT Colorway of his Kissaki Figure! This version is called the Wicked Colorway. The colors are so VIVID and bright that you can’t help but take notice. My daughter saw a preview of the figure in an email and freaked out, so I had to add it to here favorite Erick Scarecrow collection. Such dope ideas put into vinyl form, I can’t imagine what Erick will do next! But I for sure can’t wait for it!!!

Disney CARS Story Tellers NEW SINGLES

As I had mentioned the other day,keep an eye out for the new story tellers characters to be released as singles. I had bought the 3 pack with wedding ramone, tractor, and mater as well as sponsorless mcqueen with doc and flo. at $15 each the 3 packs are super pricey! But I found the single sponsorless mcqueen and wedding ramone in single form. Luckily for me I saved my receipt from the 3 pack just in case this happened! And of course it did and I saved myself the loss of $32 with tax, and just spent a little over $13 for the two newest releases!

Disney Store New CARS PickUps

The Disney store had a sale on their larger diecast scale CARS characters, so I decided to pick up the ones I had not gotten. Couldn’t beat buying them for $4!

I also nabbed the plastic pull back Wingo for $8. Can’t go wrong with the TUNER crew!

Disney CARS Super Charged Filmore and SARGE Wal Mart Score

I went into Wal Mart the other night to check up on the new stuff that maybe coming in. Nada on the end of the trip, however I spied something very unusual on the end of the pegs. I saw a Super Charged Version of the Filmore and Sarge Movie Moment. I figured this can’t be right, a almost 2 year old product hanging out, and better yet a “recalled” item that shouldn’t be on the shelf. There were also some supercharged singles sitting in the pegs as well. Could this have been a return or something that was found under a pallet in the backroom? The card part of the package wasn’t torn up, but it wasn’t in pristine condition either.

I took the package to a price scanner and it read “see associate for assistance”. I geeked a little bit worried if I took it to the checkout I would be denied the sale, as others had reported previously. I then took it to the computer scanners in electronics and it scanned and said the price and name of the item, so i thought I was good. I grabbed the grocery items I needed and took off to the register. And like a little kid denied ice cream , as soon as the checker scanned it the register blinged with “item not for sell” DOH! The checker said it was probably recalled and snatched the item and wisked it under the register.

That really sucked but what can you do. I headed home thinking of ways I could have beat the system. And figured if I had another movie moment I could scan it twice and put the Sarge Movie Moment in the bag and call it a day. Since i would be paying for it anyway, and this Sarge wouldn’t end up as a pacifier for a little one. I headed back to that same Wal Mart a few days later and checked the pegs nada. Then I turned the corner and a reshop cart was there and low and behold the Sarge and Fillmore Movie Moment was staring me in the face. It was on! I found a lone buzz and woody MM mangled in the clearance section, I grabbed it and the sarge and filmore MM, headed to a self checkout, scanned to buzz n woody twice dropped them in my bag, paid and walked out…whew…My adrenaline was pumping both from scoring and from what I did to get the toy. Some would say I was wrong and others would have done the same thing. I paid for the item just bent the rules about how to get it. The things we do to get our “fix”.

Disney CARS QC OOOPS Pitty Stacy

I recently came across yet another 2009 A case at target that had already been pillaged for the Impound McQueen. But looking at the remnants…this Stacy looked a little off. Maybe trying to escape the blister before it was sealed? I shook it a bunch and it doesn’t move. Its not an error but more of a Quality Control miss. Cool to me though. it will go well with my Guido trying to do a somersault in the blister.

Disney CARS Target Storytellers 3 packs

I grabbed these NEW 3 pack Story tellers last week. I had to have the employees check the backroom for me using the DCPI stock number that I saw online. These are GREAT sets, but the pricing is a tad high ($14.99 for 3 CARS) but I am guessing costs of the unnecessary packaging is the culprit! But the detail is very nice on the vehicles as well as the packaging. But for the people that gotta have it NOW. Be cautious, rumors have these 3 packs also being sold as singles. So if you buy 3 packs keep them sealed for awhile and hold onto the receipt!
