Hot Wheels 1:50th Scale 1989 Movie Batmobile

As a kid being in a single parent household with 2 other brothers I never really got the “cool” toys everyone else did. Life was pretty meager with alot of hand me downs and off brands toys. So now I guess is the “catching up” factor for me. Hence the hundreds of toys posts right? But with that being said Batman has always been a cool character to envision and be like. What kid wouldn’t want to be Batman! Like the Joker said , “Where does he get such wonderful toys?” He does have some pretty kickass weapons/vehicles.

I came across Hot Wheels newest 1:50 Batman series release in the form of the 1989 Movie Batmobile. It came home with me to join the few other Batmobile Tumblers n such. The lineup looks great for 2009 as there will be Batwing,the 2008 Bat Bike and a few other gems in the series.

Hot Wheels Classics Series 5 ‘47 Chevy Fleetline Chase

The 1947 Chevy Fleetline (Aerosedan) has been a staple in the lowriding community for quite some time. Being referred to within the lowrider community as a BOMB. The old school class this car possesses is incredible. Whether you slap 13 inch spokes on it and hydro it or go with the whitewalls with original moons and bags it stands on its own within the current car building culture.

With that being said Hot Wheels has replicated the beauty of this car within its Classics line up and the “chase” vehicle with real rubber tires sets it off (it should have ONLY been released with rubber tires in my opinion)! But I was more than happy to shell out the $4 for it and bring the “BOMB” home with me. I can see glimmers of Felix the Cat and license plate charms as I type this!

Hot Chicks with Douchebags BY Jay Louis

If you have ever came across the “cool” kids rocking the polo’s with popped collars or idiots wearing their hat sideways this book NAILS them ALL to a “T”. Jay Louis has landed himself in hot water through lawsuits with ACTUAL pictures published in this book by those pictured that didn’t sign off on the use of their pictures. But holy hell if the descriptions and language the author used weren’t spot on! And this also covers the female types that associate with such douchebag’d individuals.

I personally can’t stand the jackasses (MALES) that rock the chick “skinny” jeans and sag them at the same time? WHAT THE HELL?? defeats the purpose right? And then those Douchebags that were the super baggys and A.) have to walk around holding their pants up because they spent their only $100 on buying said jeans instead of getting a belt on the cheap or B.) wearing a belt and tightening it just under their ass cheeks so you can see their thrift store boxers breezing away in front of you. Senseless generation these days. And we all wonder why our society is in he shitter!

Disney CARS Mini Adventures Race Rodz Flo and Sally

Somehow I missed this Mini Adventures set in my area. Although I don’t think we saw that release here. But a collector friend in Tennessee was able to score one for me and send it my way!

Disney CARS 3 Car Gift Pack Team No Stall

The newer horizontal Disney CARS 3 packs have been showing up at most6 local retailers. I was able to grab a Team No Stall 3 Car Gift Pack. I really like the presentation of these 3 packs! It’s a little diorama within itself.

Larrys Garage Classic Packard and Bone Shaker

The Classic Packard is definitely one of those memorable “old time” gangster cars from the Bugsy Sigel and Al Capone flicks. Larry Woods and Hot Wheels captured it essence in the new school line called Larry’s Garage. This is the second color installment of this Packard, the first being a letdown orange color. I think the red sets the car off along with the red colored hubs wrapped in white wall rubber tires. And lucky for me this happens to be one of the “chase” vehicles with Larry Woods Initials on the base.

I also picked up this tough looking Larrys Garage Bone Shaker. The gold spokes sets this car off! Along with the other gold accents. This casting has always caught my eye since its debut, but no even more so with the attention to detail with the colors and graphics. The purchase was a no brainer for me.

From my understanding Larry’s Garage is a tribute to the man,the myth, the legend in the diecast world. Mr. Woods has received his own line to showcase the pieces he has designed,had a hand in working on, or just his favorite castings.

Jada Toys Sand Stinger

Without any intellectual Jada Toys releases as of late, there are always the “Big Lou” era vehicles still popping up in stores. 2+ years later and the old series are STILL showing up in stores…hmmmm?? I saw a Sand Stinger I hadn’t seen before, so it quickly left the freshly stocked pegs and rode home with me to be set free and joining the rest of free rolling hunks O’ plastic and diecast pieces in my home.

Disney CARS Andrea and Milton Calypeer

With the Disney CARS G case swallowing thew west coast and seemingly trickling here on the East Coast. I was lucky enough to find 2 cases between two different Wal Marts. I don’t care for very many of the newer cars coming out but I would have to say Andrea is a nice change of pace and Milton is OK, but

very

similar to Doc.

HotWorks Option Stream Fairlady Z

As I am always searching for HotWorks models I had missed out on or current releases. I found this Option Stream Fairlady Z I has passed on buying years ago and then it grew on me and I couldn’t find one online to save my life. So I had located one the other day and quickly bought it for the very cheap price of $15. Happy day!

Hot Wheels Short Card GMC Motor home Regular Treasure Hunt

I had passed by a VERY LARGE box in a local Wal Mart store that had Checklane Hot Wheels 480pcs printed on the side. I tried my best to get into it and score some swag, but no luck. So I followed up the next day and noticed the end cap was still not out, then in investigating, it seems the employees just dumped the cars into rectangular cardboard trays and threw them randomly into the check lanes. 30 minutes later I was able to score 8 Hot Wheel Treasure Hunt GMC Motor Homes. They were all regular short card versions. Not bad for a midnight Wal Mart run.
