I came across the Disney CARS lenticular line the other night and bought a few out of the bunch I liked. To me this line isn’t worth the $1 markup. They eyes as you will see are not that great of an accent (opened and closed), however the packaging is top notch with the dual clear side visibility. But hopefully my pictures will help you decide if you haven’t seen these yet.
And the chases of course. But these DO NOT HAVE LENTICULAR EYES. So you are paying $1 more for the packaging alone.
I was a avid Sidekick lover though all the versions (OG,SK2, and SK3) And due to copying a friends style I grabbed a BlackBerry Curve to see what the hype was all about. At first it was a way different interface than any of the Sidekicks. But after a short getting used to it became easy as pie and really cool to use.
So now after a few years of using the Blackberry Curve I stepped it up a notch and grabbed a BlackBerry Storm. So far I haven’t had any troubles with it but have heard quite a few remarks that that interface is garbage and people have had tons of issues with them. But so far so good I am pretty happy with it.
Well I thought I would take a few up close shots of the goods while also trying out a new light box set up.
I Scored the Kmart Advertisement in store posters the following day thanks to cool store management. Rather than having them throw them in the trash. They will go well with the posters from the first event that I scored as well. The poster they gave away at the event has to be a good 36 inches in length.

Looks like another GREAT event. I was able to grab a few extras for my international friends and had a good time meeting some new collectors and of course seeing some nasty ass evil bay scalpers….
DISCLAIMER::::::: Before any of you bleeding heart POOR ME’s start in with the “you’re a monster” comments I went to 5 different Kmarts and spent over $400 in product and $50 in gas. If you didn’t do it then SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTHS and KEEP YOUR IGNORANT comments within YOUR poor me circle.
And I also got 8 posters.
Unlike most die hard CARS fans I am sooo not a HUGE “GOTTA HAVE IT” fan of Frank. I grabbed this for a Canadian friend who was kind enough to let me open it to take photos. I myself am awaiting Sven, anything to make fun of the Governator to me is well worth buying….several…However the detailing is nice on Frank, all the way down to mud splotches all over his carriage.
I came across some interesting Short Card hot Wheels the other day:
Had to get the GT-R in the short card. The shot card has chrome wheels where as the regular carded version has gunmetal-ish colored wheels.
And a nice little Treasure Hunt to round them out
