Monday, October 5, 2009 — realmz1Tomy/Tomica has JUMPED the Mattel gun with its newly released Mater Tall Tales 3 pack. This cool 3 pack set includes Mater the Greater,El Materdor, and Rescue Squad Mater. This set is truly flawless. The Materdor stands out the most with his meticulous tampo work, executed perfectly! The set comes with collectors cards just like the Tokyo Mater 2 piece set. I can’t wait to see more!

Jada Toys 2006 Ford Mustang GT Battle Machines
Sunday, August 23, 2009 — realmz1Jada has dropped a new line called battle machines. Something along the lines of Mad Max type vehicles. Not too much that makes them a line that will last multiple releases. But I grabbed only one that appealed to me for the simple fact of the police livery. Besides that they are clogging the pegs at ALL area stores and have been sitting their for about 3 1/2 weeks without a movement.
Tomica/Tomy Disney CARS Tokyo Mater and Dragon Lightning McQueen
Sunday, August 23, 2009 — realmz1The Disney Shorts version of Tokyo Mater and Dragon McQueen models have been struck on first by Tomica/Tomy. Mattel has yet to announce any release of these two yet, beyond the CARS TOONS that were showcased at The San Diego Comic Convention. To most these don’t hold weight to the Godfather that is Mattel. But I like them very much.

Tomica/Tomy Disney CARS Filmore C-14
Sunday, August 23, 2009 — realmz1Tomica/Tomy has released a new Disney CARS offering in the form of C-14 Filmore. It is pretty close in size to Mattel’s 1:55 scale offering as well as weight. I have taken a few comparison shots to show that off.
