The 757 iLLEST crew threw down yet another well attended event. This simple “car meet” was more than that. The parking lot of 240 spots was filled bore the event swung into gear. The next overflow parking was also beginning to fill up by the time I showed up @ 12pm. The support was terrific and the quality of rides that came out were numerous. It was cool to see the amount of people that decided to come out in chilly temps and overcast weather. yet another cool event to attend with minimal bs and good times had by most.
And as usual there is always some jackass(‘s) that shows out and people call the fuzz…
Sorry for so many parts but I couldn’t just cram everything into one blog shot. So many nice rides came out and did their thing, had to capture them all and put their pictures on display. This will be the final part to my NUROTAG Coverage.
Feel free to click on any of the photos to see all the other photos in my flickr account. I took over 500 photos and spread out the best I could through 4 blogs.
Still A LOT more cool cars to add to the blog roll. Great shots of these rides need to be shown. Hopefully I can knock out the rest with watermarks in this edition if not then one more set will be added.
Gentlemen even brought out their RC Drifters to whip around the show floor.
The DJ’s were keeping things live on the one’s n two’s
Loweredlifestyle.com was in the house.
Seriousinnovations.com was also present
A sneak peak of the roll in and set up then the filling up.
Badass Battle Damaged R2D2 Fiat
With soooo many rides, playing with lighting, and hitting different angles, a second part to the show need to be made. Definitely worth the 2nd part.
This show was highly anticipated for me as I was one of a few local photographers selected to cover the event. The day started early…and was fueled by adrenaline for this experience! A LOT of very nice rides came out to show off their hard work and time and even with a few bumps throughout the day this event was very well received.
The roll in was busy all morning. Here are just a few I caught rolling in:
Now on to the show!
You can click on any photo and check out the rest of the photos from this set.
I had posted this series before , but thee were in Tamiya collector boxes from Japan not the current US carded release. So without further time wasting. the 6 blister packed US releases…
This series to me is the main thing that hooked me to Super GT Racing. DropJay on my blog roll was, I believe the MAIN character behind bringing this series to life. Although I do not know the relationship that was Muscle Machines x Tamiya. The line was killed/or died after the first release sadly enough.I wish we could have seen more 1:24’s come from that line or maybe dare we say 1:18 scales ( I can wish right!) There was also a packed set of these in a clamshell set up (similar to all the current cars from Jada, Maisto, and other lines) I have those as well, just didn’t feel like digging through the closets to get them out at the moment. But regardless the product was FREAKING BANANAS ! Without further blabbering, thank you JDM JAY, It almost BLEW UP…now here are the pics!
