I had the opportunity to shoot again for LiveWire Media for their 2nd Hot Rod Custom Car show. This one had a side event in a chili cook off which was pretty cool to experience.
The releases of Larry’s, Wayne’s, and Phil’s Garage Hot Wheel vehicles have been popping up at several retailers locally. I have been able to grab a few of the newest releases that have caught my eye. I think the coolest *NEW* release to me is of the School Busted vehicle. That is very reminiscent of a California Show vehicle I had seen pictures of on the net. And of course the paint/tampo work on the fish’d and chip’d is nicely done. And of course the Dairy Delivery is and has been one of my most favorite castings to date.
I came across this Jada Toys 1:18 Scale ’49 Merc Rat Rod low rider at Target. It was a nice change from the numerous Camaro’s,Chargers, and other various Jada 1:18 models lingering around. The flat paint and rat rod look is GREAT. Thew flame work is A plus along with Kevi Kev’s Paid Due’s clothing logo on the lower front fender. And the finishing touch of While wall tires and blacked out wheels.
I was in Toys R Us the other day and came across M2 Autothentics Auto Stretch Rods. And looking through them I spied a dope flat black Merc with gold flames and accents. I snapped it up quick, as I have been eyeing the stretch rods at walmart but $20 for a set of three with only one I liked was ehhh. And this offering is bigger than the sets at walmart. I nabbed it and checked out, and later found out this vehicle is a “chase” (hard to find , limited) item. I have yet to open it as I don’t have a nice display spot for it, but it will be cracked open shortly.
