Yet another banger coming from the RAW DOLLZ X DJ RAWBASE Squad. My first night shoot so a lot to learn but it turned out pretty well!
This was my first opportunity to shoot with beautiful ladies included with the subject. DJ RAW BASE brought out Deovon and Joy to show off their beauty among his badass lowrider bikes! This blessed me with future opportunities to shoot these young ladies and more during 2014!
MORE of this shoot can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.304227836414697.1073741941.180260265478122&type=3
It took awhile to get through all the pictures. If you don’t happen to see your ride feel free to click on any of the pictures and browse my flickr uploads with more than 300+ pictures from the show. It was a gREAT turnout for the 1st annual Smoked Out Summer Showdown. Thanks to Mark Evans for getting this shiz together!
I had to bust a part 2 due to my lack of sleep and work schedule following the show. I definitely forgot to add a HUGE thank you to the RNR Tires fellas for hooking me up with a continuous stream of DUB Edition Monster drinks! I NEEDED THOSE FOR SURE!!!!
Now let me get back to the rides and other goodies:
The DJ’s at the show has the old school and new school blazing throughout the day!

Once again a HUGE thanks to The STREET DREAMZ CREW, RNR TIRES. MZ. COCOA BUTTER, THE RNR LADIES AND ALL THE SHOW PARTICIPANTS FOR LETTING ME COME OUT AND SNAP SOME FLICKS,SHARE SOME STORIES AND HANG OUT WITH GOOD PEOPLE. i LOOK FORWARD TO DOING IT AGAIN!
Once again the GREAT family from Street Dreamz extended an invite for me to break out the cameras and shoot some of the kick ass rides that parking lot pimped their car show in Norfolk, VA. Nothing but great things from this show. There was a great turn out and a nice warm and sunny day. One little guy I missed in this Show was the young gent from Altered Suspension with the Angry Birds Lowrider Bike. He had gotten sick and wanted to roll through but I know when you’re sick that just won’t work out well.. get well young sir!
GREAT AIRBRUSH WORK!
Proud owners by their hardwork!
I was invited by Johnny Outlaw from Street Dreamz Lowrider Club to come out and shoot somme photos of this show. The Show started off slow as a lot of people got caught in Tunnel traffic. But as the afternoon drew on the nice rides started rolling in.
Trophies were SMASHING for winners of their respective classes.
Nice Nissan Mini Truck Laying frame!
A little Fisheye shottie
Altered Suspension brought out the Lowrider bikes
TV’s in the front bumper? This gent HAS that!
A BEAUTIFULLY restored Impala
I think this ride had my BEST ARTWORK vote for the day!
The Ladies of RNR represented as well:
The LAST shot of the Day….I like it
I had a great time bringing out the rigs to play amateur photographer. Thanks top all the Street Dreamz Fellas & Ladies, RNR Rims and Tires and of course all the entrants for allowing me to break in the Nikons. I appreciate all the hospitality.!
The family and I had the opportunity attend the DUB SHOW and visit with Myles Kovaks and crew at the DUB Show in Charlotte , North Carolina. We got some cool shots and thanks to Myles, and early entrance to the show to get some shots before the general public was allowed in! Thank a BUNCH to Myles and the rest of the DUB crew for being A++ hosts and good people!!!
A jam packed venue just about an hour before door opening!
From the inside it I am sure it was well worth the wait!!!
Pretty slick and slammed caddy!!
Gotta love the hot rods at shows!!!!
And a few kick ass old school rides!

Now a really cool ride I have been looking forward to catching up with was the DUB x SHAQ FORD MUSTANG. I had the privilege to see the beginning of this project at the DUB SHOP last year and have been anticipating the finishing of it.
Roland Sands Bikes were represented well!
The next BIG thing?
Can you GUESS what car this WAS before the super mods?
There was something about this hummer that stuck with me throughout the show. I don’t know if it was the reptile skin or the bad ass road king painted and wrapped to match the Hummer.
They also had dope little hod rod buckets with video game stations in them to play while at the show.
I liked the paint work on this impala
A dope little delivery van
Outside the weather turned sunny and clear then you see a new trend with taxi’s ballin!
UFC fighter Brian Bowles came out for some signings..
And the newest DUB toy line coming out very soon is the DUB GARAE cars. Here are a few sneaks that were available to see at the show
I had a great time attending the Diecastspace.com Las Vegas Super Convention. With all due respect to Carsthetoys.com and AL-V Custudio’s invite to be a part of the Disney Pixar CARS display team. I was able to bring out my personal Japanese Tomica Disney CARS collection for display.
All the Carsthetoys.com members that were part of the display team brought GREAT pieces from their personal collection as well ass KICK ASS customs displays and CARS. It was an event not to be forgotten!
There were plenty of prototypes sitting around!
Allen Gladfelter from BOOM COMICS even showed up and knocked out a bunch of customs print requests for CARS fans!
There were several other Diecast Companies in attendance. M2 Machines by Castline being one of them. They had some cool pieces out on display:
MuscleMachines seem to maybe making a comeback. This willys was all that was there…..
A good Friend Luis “Big Lou” Tanahara was there showing off his kickass Sledster creation. Dope artwork and also a little info that something new is in the works! Can’t Wait to see!
there were also a few custom cars and creations in attendance.
