Charity shows are always a great thing for clubs to get involved with. If I have to chance to support a club doing a charity show I will definitiely be out to shoot some photos. This show brought out some very nice rides and also a few beautiful ladies to pose near the rides!
You can check out the entire set here:
I had the opportunity to roll with a local guy to attend this event. It was well worth the drive! A++ ladies and gents handling the event! I look forward to catching more Tuner Evolution events this year!

The 757 iLLEST crew threw down yet another well attended event. This simple “car meet” was more than that. The parking lot of 240 spots was filled bore the event swung into gear. The next overflow parking was also beginning to fill up by the time I showed up @ 12pm. The support was terrific and the quality of rides that came out were numerous. It was cool to see the amount of people that decided to come out in chilly temps and overcast weather. yet another cool event to attend with minimal bs and good times had by most.
And as usual there is always some jackass(‘s) that shows out and people call the fuzz…
This event thrown by Sumospeed was a get together for not only friends and enthusiasts but also a donation for a toy drop off for needy children for the Christmas holiday. A lot of people came out and supported the event and filled the donation box.
It took awhile to get through all the pictures. If you don’t happen to see your ride feel free to click on any of the pictures and browse my flickr uploads with more than 300+ pictures from the show. It was a gREAT turnout for the 1st annual Smoked Out Summer Showdown. Thanks to Mark Evans for getting this shiz together!
I had the opportunity to come out and support this event for Jonathan Derrick, a local gentleman battling cancer. His car club threw this event in support of him and his family to help in the cost of medical bills and finances so that he may kick this cancers ass! I got off work at 7am and got things ready to cover this event. Sadsly I could only stay a short while due to haing to be back at work later on. But the turn out while I was there was wonderful! A LOT of love and support for this gentleman and his family!
I grabbed this new color version of Maisto’s Allstar Scion xB. I dig the silver /chrome paint. Although the black racing stripes are a little off to me. But nevertheless I had to buy it to stay current.
I passed by these at the local store and was shocked to see Mattel still rocking the 1:50 scale stuff (or as to those in the know midscale pieces). They had quite a few muscle cars bleh, but this Scion tC gleamed out of that crap like a treasure. I quickly nabbed it and brought home to the rest of its prereleased cousins from the Dropstars family. The tC Definitely digs its new home!
Jada Toys linked up with Scion for 3 (known of so far creations) Promo pieces. One is is this Yellow Scion xB that was basically a giveaway from Scion at various car shows and exhibitions. The other 2 are 1:24 scale Scion tC’s that were apology cars for recall issues in that model.
World renown graffiti artist SABER has teamed up with the Maisto custom shop to creat a series of Limited Edition 1:24 scale scion xB’s. The three unique cars feature graphic designs by SABER created especially for this project
I grabbed these at a local retailer at a very good clearanced price. I have wanted to get them since they were released to the hobby end of the market but to me the prices were a little high for the product. now seems they went to retail shortly after and stayed at a higher price. And finally they dropped dramatically price wise and I grabbed them up. The designs are pretty dope although the casting isn’t all that great. The head lights are plastic covers as any 1:24 scale is, but the rear lights are tampos(stickers) not lenses, pretty disappointing! But like I mentioned I DIG the Graf inspired design and Saber is a DOPE artist!
