Many years back…(Like I am really that old) I was really into modding cars. I bought a Brand new 2000 Honda Civic EX, and as soon as I drove it off the lot the rims changed,the stereo, the spoiler….and then it snow balled. Within a year I had the car fully body kitted (ground designs2000 Street fighter 2 Body Kit..2nd in the US with it**), Z3 fenders, and an aggressive slotted hood, APR Wing,TYC tail lights, SI-R Black Housing Headlights, All the whoopies on the interior (indiglo gauges,custom shift boot, Tachometer,7 inch TV,PS2,XBOX,12 inch Fusion subs and Amp,Pioneer head unit,water,oil temp,voltage pillar gauges) dropped painted,molded man it got crazy. It was Tokico dropped on 17 inch Konig’s with bullshit parts at the beginning. A lot of Auto parts store shit until I got a little more versed in the better quality items without really trying to JDM out my shit. And as everyone that starts out with skimpy pockets HAS to go the cheap way!
The beginning paint and body molding was done by a jerk off who really did his well paid job half assed. So from the lime-ish green paint it went to Ford’s Hunter Green Metallic with a splash of gold and lilac pearl. I had a hand in a lot of the wet sanding and paint work. As well as REMOLDING the back bumper,side skirts and reshaping the side door molding lines…So this time it got done right.
Yes I had TRUE DUAL EXHAUSTS, not a dummy canister welded up. These were a gift from one of my sponsors AC Autotechnic.
The interior was ripped out and paionted along with adding 2 Tenzo R racing seats, AC Autotechnic intkae,harnesses,in dash indiglo’s,shift knob,lower and upper control strut braces.
I hit the show circuits hard in 2001 in Virginia,North Carolina, Georgia, and South Carolina. And shortly was able to pick up quite a few sponsors and a few nice trophies.

With this shitty state of Virginia I received 102 VISUAL NON MOVING TICKETS for this car since it was a daily driver not a trailer whore. I had to get rid of it seeing as it was costing more that the car note itself was worth. I had a GREAT show experience and am VERY THANKFUL for ALL the help from friends and sponsors for making this project jump off.
