July 4th in Atlanta

In front of the other 2 posts here is the coverage of our fun time in Atlanta for the 4th of July. As like previous years my brother closed off the parking lot to his pool and spa company and held a pretty kick ass bbq and fireworks montage. Only invited people were allowed in for the festivities. There were several individuals that were willing to pay to get into this prime spot for the fireworks but to no avail. We had a blast throwing firecrackers at each other and setting off all other varieties from flowers to bottle rockets to mortars. It was a great time and thanks to my brother and his partner Tom for setting up the event!

My mom even got in on throwing firecrackers along with Tom’s mom!

The cops were out to stop traffic before the fireworks started, And they never bothered us while we lit our own illegal fireworks off.

Disney CARS Release B Lenticular Series

I somehow got lucky this morning and came across 2 cases of freshly stocked Disney CARS Lenticular B case items. I shuffled them all into my cart and made sure my Canadian collector friend and myself were covered. Although I noticed half of the CARS in this case weren’t too “lenticular” as I couldn’t really tell their eyes were closing at any angle. But I personally HAD TO HAVE Boost and DJ. The Piston Cup Dinoco McQueen Chases don’t hurt the eyes too much either.

This last week has been GREAT for Diecast scores. The Disney CARS Lenticular scores have been off the chain!!! Just a group of Saluting Sarges from the past 6 days!
