I have found quite a few pieces from GreenLight and M2 Machines in the stores over the past month. And with my recent trip to California I was able to grab quite a few more pieces from my diecast distribution friends at http://www.collectablediecast.com to add to this post. Quite a few are really old which I was lucky to get from collectablediecast.com.

I have had the release information on this particular Ebbro x Tomica model for a little while and just was awaiting the release. And just a week before I headed out of town I noticed one had popped up on ebay. So I quickly connected with my Japanese mini car shop and asked if they could their hands on it. Luckily for me they had 1 in the shop. I quickly bought it up and with their SUPER FAST EMS shipping it was at my door in 5 days. ROCKIN!!
I had spotted a few new GreenLight vehicles on the pegs the other day. There were 3 that caught my eye. I am a quite compulsive when it comes to Dodge Charger diecast. I saw the North Dakota State Patrol Charger , The Virginia State Police Charger( I see these on the interstate all the time), and the Coronado police Mustang I grabbed hence I always used to surf in Coronado at Silver Strand State Beach. Nevertheless these are pretty nifty rides but I was surprised to see their price increases. Not too hip on the price of toys nowadays. Always makes for a pickier spending spree.
A new line has dropped from Mattel (like a new line is surprising right). These Speed Machines are pretty cool for what they are ( a better designed Hot Wheel Basic Car) upgraded paint, cool co mold wheels, and larger packaging. And the assortment is a pretty decent line up from Acura NSX’s to Ferrari Californians. I saw sneak of a R35 GT-R CAN’T WAIT FOR THAT!

I was able to score a San Diego Comic Convention Kidrobot Fatcap Purple Version designed by Deph. This piece was limited to 200 pieces at the convention only.

As usual I browsed my local stores for new items and came across another color version of Matchbox’s Honda Civic Si. I am really liking there realistic ,to scale, detailed offerings for under $1. So it had to be plucked from the pegs and brought home to be with its’ brothers.
As usual I have been on the hunt and purchase mode for the newest and oldest Ebbro models. I had a new batch of some newer models come in.

Seeing these little guys not only threw me back in the day hanging out with the band P.O.D. , when they had their old school pedal car. But these little guys are cute for some odd reason. And the pedals really spin around.
This continues my newer finds during memorial day. The corvette C6-R looks GREAT in 1:64 scale! And again WTF is up with the Multi spoke CHROME wheels?
A strange turn of events landed me a few “new” to me Jada Toys 1:64 scale singles. I found a few in my trip to Georgia for Memorial day and some more when I arrived back in Virginia. I am super surprised to have found some 2008 releases this late in 2009. Weird…These Vipers came hope with me! About time Jada starts cranking ut some decent motor sports cars rather than the blown engine shit! My ONLY beef is what the fuck is up with the multi spoke CHROME wheels???…eeeeeekkkk
