Right before Christmas I was able to receive a cool hook up from a friend at a local clothing chain. I got the 50% off discount for friends and family so I decided to buy some 2009 Series 6-3 inch Dunny cases, as well as some BIG MONGER figures. A very cool pickup of goods! The GLOOMY BEAT Dunny has ben my most recent 8 inch Kidrobot Dunny purchase. I am not all that into the gloomy bear regular line however this big 8 incher goes well with the recent 3 inch series little sibling. Pretty cool design and limited to 1500. A nice addition to my Dunny family.
I stopped back in my local shop that carries the 3 inch Dunny series and had to grab a few more. After the cool ones I snapped up before I thought I would try my hand again and hopefully not get a lot of dupes. I actually only got one dupe and all the rest were new to my and fairly rocked.
Something about this 8 inch Dunny by Buff Monster grabbed me. I pulled the trigger quickly when it went on sale. I don’t know what it was about it, although after buying it I kind of had second thoughts waiting for it to get to me. But as soon as I received it and opened it up, I was hooked! This dunny was done perfectly. The gloss on it was perfect and the detail was great! Although without the massive amount of typical boobage by Buff, the slight representation of them was superb!
I haven’t really been into the last few releases of Kidrobot Dunny’s. But with a sudden urge to pick some up I grabbed a few of the new 2009 Series 6 Blind Boxes and came away with these:

I was able to score a San Diego Comic Convention Kidrobot Fatcap Purple Version designed by Deph. This piece was limited to 200 pieces at the convention only.

My first glance at this figure online made me instantaneously buy it. I dig the whole vato-esque design Mr. MAD himself laid down. The Mechanized is a GREAT detailed figure somehow compounded in a 5 inch figure! BADASS to say the least!
In my personal opinion Jesse Hernandez KILLED the Dunny Platform with his Jaguar Warrior Dunny! The detailed line work put together to form one of Jesse’s most famous aztec designs is INCREDIBLE! I would rank this at #1 in my collection of Dunny’s! Simply sick and WELL worth the $75 pricetag!
With a little over 4 months in waiting time. I have finally received my 6 inch Golden Ticket TooFly Fatcap. The golden ticket had to be obtained by locating a special golden ticket card within the packaging of the Fatcap Series 2 blind Boxes. Once you had the card you were to enter the code from the card online and fill out your personal mailing information,then a few months later the figures were to be mailed out to the card finders. Granted it isn’t THE BEST 6 inch Fatcap Deisgn , But I am proud to add it to my existing complete series 1 and 2 Fatcaps.
