The Disney CARS CHASE cars have been dropping pretty quick lately. We were hit with Chase Mater With Oil can then Chase Mater with Glow in the Dark Lantern then directly after that was Mater with Blue Hood. And a little Duff Wrecks mixed in with the Chases.
And the lantern DOES GLOW after exposing it to direct light!
I have been VERY blessed to have GREAT friends in Canada and the west coast to have helped me add these very cool sets to my enormous collection.
My good buddy Steve in Canada was super nice to hook up these 3 INTERNATIONAL packaged Pit Crew sets that have NOT surfaced here on the east coast until just recently.
My buddy in California was kind enough to scoop this Bumper Save set up for me out in the Wild West California. I have YET to see these ANYWHERE in my area.
October 23rd Kmart held its somewhat popular Disney CARS Collectors event. This event has EXCLUSIVE rubber tired speedway of the south racers. As well as several first to market cars. This is very similar to the Mattel Hot Wheels Collectors day event. In several areas across the United States this is a very popular event, however in my area I was the ONLY one to be at a particular Kmart store so I had FREE reign on the contents of the master cases. The following in my haul from this event.
One main problem I have with the Racers is the layout of the rubber tires. Some have the entire fat and wide rubber tire and others have a dual layered version which is very strange.
Tach O Mint has been one of the most anticipated Racers due to the deco as well as one racer that hadn’t been offered at regular retail or in any promotions whether it be international or in the states.
Paint mask McQueen has to be one of the best detailed chase cars released so far. Not just a “CHASE” car due to an accessory added in the package.
It had been a HECTIC moving time and getting unpacked. The Collector Event at Kmart was an extreme squeeze as my company picnic was the same day AND I got off work that morning at 7AM. I had to stay up ALL day to accomplish everything on my plate. I, like a lot of others, had a super easy in and out collector day. I was the only one there so i cleaned house and got home to prep for the picnic. Here are my scores from the morning:
I got the door ad and A LOT of empty boxes/cases
And also scored a few collector posters
Now on to the offerings. (there are no googly eye cars pictured nor purchased!)Just some rubber tired racers and even an error I didn’t notice.

I walked into my local Disney Store and noticed they had two new offerings in the 1:43 scale CARS diecast. I picked up the Fabulous Hudson Hornet and Dinoco Lightning McQueen. I am kinda happy that the Dinoco Lightning McQueen came out as a single as otherwise it was only available in a $50 carrying case set.
February had been a ok month for finding some of the newer Disney CARS in my area. We are still really behind the rest of the US with whats been showing up, but in time we should catch up. I had come across a new El Materdor and Chuy the bulldozer playset. Albeit all plastic and really not my thing. I grabbed one up to check it out.
I was also able to find a children’s puzzle of El Materdor and Chuy the Bulldozer Lenticular puzzle. My daughter and I worked the very easy 24 piece puzzle and framed it up. Its a nice addition to our massive CARS framed puzzles.
I was able to pick up the Toys R Us exclusive 5 car set with RO Tom,Charlie Checker, Axel Accelerator,Lightning McQueen and Dexter Hoover with Green flag.
A fiinally I came across a few of the newest Disney CARS Lenticular H case assortment.
AND YES, The CHASE BLING BLING MCQUEEN WITH PISTON CUP HAS LENTICULAR EYES, this i the beginning of ALL chase CARS have Lenticular eyes.
DAMN it has been AWHILE since I posted some toys. Life has been crazy with my fathers passing and then coming back getting into the work swing of things. Without anymore bullshitting and delay. I have been pulling Disney CHASE RANSBURG DJ’s off the pegs like pez. It seems everywhere I go there is always one or more hanging out. I was amped after finding this one but now it is a daily occurrence.
While browsing the after Christmas toy aisles I found this lonely little play set sitting on clearance. Without hesitation it was scooped up and in my cart. It is pretty big once set up but works perfectly with each different design set up.
The Disney Store has a cool 20 piece set of their 1:43 Disney CARS models. The set was spendy but it was a cool display piece and all the piece together in one set was a cool wow factor for display.
